Moreton-in-Marsh is easily accessible by road and rail. There are also regular buses from Stratford, Cirencester, Cheltenham and many surrounding villages.
The North Cotswolds town is located just over 20 miles from Cirencester, 40 miles from Oxford, less than 45 miles from Birmingham and approximately 80 miles from central London. It stands at the crossroads of the Fosse Way, an old Roman road now known as the A429, and the A44, which winds its way from Oxford in the east to Evesham in the west.
Moreton-in-Marsh is the only town in the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty which has a mainline train station, with regular trains stopping on the Cotswold Line that runs between London, Oxford and Worcester. A direct train from London Paddington takes approximately 90 minutes to reach Moreton-in-Marsh. From Moreton-in-Marsh train station, it's a 2-minute walk to the High Street.
